My Dearest Child

My dearest child,
my heart is in sujood,
thanking Allah for the gift of you.

My dearest, sweetest child,
my heart is in prayer, asking for you,
butterflies and beautiful summer skies.

My dearest, most precious child,
light of my eyes, joy of my heart,
a heart full of love is my dua for you.

A heart full of love,
to love the Beloved of Allah.
Aameen!
